2019?

This was on Arctic Insiders Facebook page a few days ago. John said he was out West and got to ride some Very cool, new sleds from Cat.

^ Thats 3 years old. Looks like for a snowbike.....about the same timeframe cat started blabbering about a snike. Sled still needs a 15-16” wide track and doesn’t need half the track flopping around with no support.

Are you sure?

Oh thank god.

A sick new trail sled.

With a headlight.

Can't wait.

I'm thinking the Mountain segment might be in for some new tech. John doesn't head out West very often just for a trail sled. I'm getting pretty excited!

I know.

I'm just making fun of these stupid industry 'leaks'.

Because let's be clear. They deserve to be made fun of.

Personally if the big tech is skidoo beginner flexy track skid technology(sic), I'll most likely pounce on the first 2018 arctic cat sled I find within the hour.

id be against a flex edge track but all for giving this monorail skid a try. if it knocks 10-15 pounds off thatd be cool. skidoo has other things going on besides the flexy skid. placing the secondary up directly over the primary so you can try to man-handle that gyroscope without over-dooing it is one of them. jmo.

Sure most people who knock the Doo skid have never spent more the an hour on one if that. Know I had a 12 Xp I bought new as a holdover and was ready to sell the pile after 2 rides because the thing was a bigger carving/sidehilling pile of crap than the Rev was. Thought I'd put the Tmo in there just to see if it could help and that sled went from the worst handling turd in the world to one of the best. Loved that sled after that and the 14 Xm I had.

Hey I don't want to here from people that actually road them and have experience with them, I want to here opinions from people that never been on them. LOL

Spent (1,000 mountain miles) all last season on a doo 850. Hated it. The flex edge track with titling suspension is a band aid for a pos chassis design. So happy I’m not riding that thing this year. The cat and pol are much better handling sleds in The tight and technical stuff

I dieagree.
Took me about a half a day to get my juju goin on the XM with Tmotion.
Then the next day I spent time on an Axys, got used to that more quickly.
For me, the Tmo pulls over easier initially. Other than that, both fantastic sleds and I'd be happy on either one.
I don't see Tmo as a bandaid, I see it as another way to engineer easier carving characteristics into a snowmobile.

Really, if you have difficulties on any of the new iron, regardless of the brand, you are the problem, not the machine.

Mono rail mtn sled coming, called alpha cat

If true - AC/Textron better put on one hell of a demo road show - made available to the public and not just a few hand picked puppets! Especially if they don't have an early release, sounds like they won't, which is a mistake. The ERs the last 3 years has given them a lot of momentum.

If no ERs then they need to get as many people on demos as they can. Would be smart, the day after the release date, to drop a new sled off on Caleb Kesterke's door step and let the dude do what he does. No restrictions, just let him release his videos. He doesn't even need to talk, his riding says all that needs to be said.

Sorry a sequel to Destination Elevation won't be enough!

2/25 won't get here fast enough!!! :)

I'd probally buy one if they put Polaris, bars, running board, And skis on it.... seriously Just fix the annoying crap that's been a problem since 2012

Agreed, it's funny the easiest stuff to fix has not been addressed. Bad taillight snow flap design, bars and switches are a joke, just put the cat accessory running boards on the mountain sleds as standard. Looking forward to the 2019's.
