2017's are in

So, do I spring order ( till fri 22nd) a '17 Green Mountain Cat @ full retail to take advantage of the 8T Drivers & lower AOA skid, fully realizing the chain/case won't accept a higher gearing, or do I keep my Black '16 LTD and gear it up (21/49), try to fit 8T Drivers in/ live with the 7T Drivers & ignore the videos of the '17 spanking the '16 3" trackers in the deeper snow? It all just costs money to have fun!

full retail? ouch, i got 1200 off. wasnt even sure thats best deal around.

lotsa good deals on 16s out there but i gotta have that extended case WITH the 4 year warranty! i think i can live with the improved stock can, boards, and gearing too but we'll see. from what i see on the new one the only disappointing thing is the old school light bulbs...maybe the yamaha LED will fit?

'17 Moutain cat suspension

There is a single wheel mounted on the lower aspect of the rear arm, just forward of the rear track shock on the Mountain Cat. What is the purpose of this? This part is not present on the LTD nor Snopro.

When the suspension reaches full compression the track will touch that wheel instead of the bars on the arm. I like it, didn't know the mountain cat was the only 17' with it?

Thanks, that's what I'd assumed by its position, but had not seen this before on a cat; by the '17 pics I've seen only the Mountain Cat has such a wheel as my '16 LTD does not either.
