my 14 new off the lot in Jun 10k off
my 11 new off the lot in Sep 12k off sticker and the 12s had just started to show up.

I personally would buy a lightly used '15 or a leftover '16s at discount then spend the $$$ for a '17.

I just towed a 5th wheel 2000 miles with my '15 F350 and just hit 12k miles on the odometer. Its a great truck except for the damn emissions system. Seems like I'm hitting 100% exhaust filter full whenever I reach my destination.

The new 2017 makes my 2014 Powerstroke feel like there was an anchor behind it. There is that much difference. Really happy with the new truck.

good to hear.

as for the wallet joke thats why you get the 3/4 1 ton to haul around the payment book.:face-icon-small-win

Actually, the sticker price was the same as my 2014. The difference was it didn't have the chrome package and sun roof, which I didn't want anyway. However, it does have a lot of features my 2014 didn't have. Super happy with the truck, especially the power!!

how much did you get on trade for your 14?

Payed a visit to my local dealer this weekend just to see if they had a Platinum on the lot yet for me to take a look at.

Nothing high end has arrived in Idaho Falls thus far.

Holy smokes, that's insane! 25k to boot, to gain 1 year. I don't know the specifics on a king ranch vs Platinum...... But they are both high end models. Did you laugh in the salesman's face?

You mad bro?

If it was super cheap to trade out the last generation truck and do it every single year, everyone would do it.

Supply is somewhat limited, why should they be forced to give these trucks away?

You can't trade out of a vehicle in one year and not expect to lose a good chunk of money.

Whatever the market will bear is indeed the right price.

A big value number for your trade value is redundant most times . IMO
Its the difference your paying that matters.
I very rarely trade anything as always receive better value buying without a trade.
May make the best deal I can without and at the last minute through them a trade but most times it doesn't work out.
Dealers give you wholesale for yours and charge retail for new one.
My findings over many years of buying .

one thing to keep in mind the sales tax offset, you get 30k for yours and pay 50k for theirs you only pay sale tax (in my state) on the 20k. and i've had it run from as low as 2k and as high as 3500 now add that back to the price of the low ball offer and your back to market.
