2017 Axys cutting out/hesitation

I'm having issues with my 17 Axys cutting out and is low on power. It now has 7.5 eng hrs and 105 miles. It will pull 8200 rpm but track speed is only 30-32 mph. My 16 3" Axys pulls 42 mph track speed consistently. Switching to non ethanol mode tacks care of 95% of the cutting out/hesitation but it is still lacking in power. Any insight on where to start? Is the something a TPS adjustment could potentially cure?

Just thought I'd update this in case anyone else is having a similar issue. I went through and and Checked all the electrical connections and set the TPS and still had the same symptoms. The TPS was actually very close on this sled. I swapped the clutches off my 16 and still had the same results. I then brought the sled to Carls Cycle in Boise. Jack took it out and rode it and he felt that the motor needed to be loaded harder with the 17' fuel maps and the stock helix wasn't cutting it. They installed their clutch kit on it which consists of different weights and a different helix and it is a whole new sled. Completely took care of the cutting out issue and track speed/power is back to that of my 16'. I'm a little disappointed with Polaris that I had to spend extra $ to get my 17 to perform the same as my bone stock 16' but I can't say enough good things about Carls and their service department.

I've now added an SLP pipe and feel the performance of my 2.6 Belt drive 17' is now on par with my 16' 3" chaincase. The bottoms end is still stronger on the 16, so I'm going to gear it down via Pro quick drive pulleys or a TKI kit and I think it will actually be better.

Did you get the "Carls clutching" that goes with the SLP pipe and can set?
Also, i would highly recommend you ask them about gearing it down before you do it.

Yes I got the clutch kit for the SLP pipe set. Which I believe is just heavier weights.

The clutch kit from Carls includes a new helix, 2 gm heavier weights, and a bearing for the secondary. Did you get all 3 of these from Carls?

Also be sure to get their opinion about gearing down before you do it.
