2015 Pro-S Switchback issues;

I have been spending some time in the garage going through my Dad's Girlfriends new Pro S switchback. So far have only found a few things but the dealer doesn't have an answer yet, maybe someone else has seen this problems already and has a solution

1) Fuel gauge is not showing up on the display screen. It is the standard non upgraded unit

-called dealer he said they had a 600 with the same issue, somcthing about it being programmed as a utv display. We will see if this is resolved

Headlight will not go from bright to dim, stays in one mode
-mentioned this to the dealer in the same phone call as the fuel gauge call. They have a new Pro-X with the same issue *** well but this one has them stumped

anyone seen these issues yet? anyone have fixes?

Check HCS in the Axys sub-forum. Plenty of discussion on both issues. As far as the high beam try increasing rpm and switching. High beams won't activate unless enough power is available for oil pump and valves. Or so I understand.

Wow, that's a lot of checks and balances.

Technology brings complexity but just like carbs vs. injectors we get use to it and eventually demand it.

As far as the gauge goes; I read in another thread here someone had loaded the newer firmware and it defaults to the UTV mode. When You do whatever it takes to initialize it, it recognizes the ECU as snowmobile instead and swaps over.

I don't remember exactly what is required for initializing it, but sounded like it was simple like it was one of the menu items.

If I get to a computer soon, I'll update with a link to that thread.
