2015 Cat or 2014 Doo???

Can't decide which of these two to buy. The cat is a 15 Sno Pro 153, 800 miles, 16 front end, 3 inch Powerclaw, can, powder pros, windshield and tunnel bags, cover.

Doo is a 14 Summit X 163, 600 miles, electric start, can, skid plate, tunnel bag, high rise glove box.

Can buy either for $8k, I would have to buy a cover for the Doo and would have to put electric start on the Cat. Not brand loyal at all, have owned them all.

Like both chassis, like the etec motor the best but think the Cat motor is the most reliable. Dig the 3 inch on the cat and like the 163 of the Doo. Think the Cat is the most durable of the 2, but seems the resale of the Doo is better. I think if the Cat had estart I'd lean that way, but if the Doo had a 3 inch then that would be my sled.

Hard to decide which one when they both are so even in what I like, so which would you buy and why?

IVE LITERALLY OWNED BOTH THOSE SLEDS THE WAY THEY SIT THEY BOTH HAVE THERE PROS AND CONS. FIRST OFF HOW DO YOU RIDE? WHERE DO YOU RIDE?

I ride with XMs.
On cascade snow they cannot sidehill with the cats.
I like the power steering on the doo. E-start on a doo seems like a qaulity setup, not so much on cats.
Hard to beat a powerclaw.

I don't care for the handling characteristics of the doo.

A cover is A LOT cheaper than an E start. I loved my 14 154 Skidoo X. 3700 miles with no issues. Snowchecked the 850. I don't know anything about the Cat so won't comment. Being an X does it have the 4 year warranty option by chance? That would be pretty important to me.

I ride Ski Doo, but would take the Cat because of the upgrades, mainly because of the 3" track. Is their any way you can wait till you can test ride both?

West coast from Cali to Washington, tree riding in the steep and deep is my favorite:)
hum this is still a tough one, the cat IMO will be better in the trees, the 153" is 6" shorter then the 163" skidoo and very nimble in the trees.. 3" track is a poor mans turbo.... But the 163" ski doo can out climb the 153"x3" cat........mmmm also if u add the electric start you have to replace the seat and gas tank on the cat or fab brackets under the hood for the battery...
