Saw on HCS that they are talking 171 hp. Can this be true? Seems high to me, anyone have the facts?

Seems high to me also . But you just never know. Maybe the Polaris engineers finally figured out how to build some hp. Not !!! Lol

145 to 171 on a stock 800. Sweet dreams not goin happen. you can tweek any motor on a short dyno pull to make HP. Then put on a real pull and boom. thats why the real production model is Much lower Hp.

30 HP jump? Given the constraints that the governments impose I'm skeptical as well.

No way, no how. I've been on a handful of the new AXYS machines, the motor doesn't make anywhere near 171.

Does it feel better than the current cfi

At the risk of getting flamed here on Snowest like I got flamed on HCS, no, it doesn't feel any stronger.

You sit through the marketing spiel and you convince yourself it is stronger because they say it is.

Then you run it against a 2015 standard 800 and they run dead even and you snap out of the coolaid coma.

Maybe its stronger, I didn't see it on the sleds we ran.
