2012 weight?

73Tmeyer there is a battery in mine. 10 gallons of gas alone is 70lbs. Add engine oil and any other fluids I think those Cats are more like 60 maybe 70 lbs more. The 1100 Turbo is even heavier. Not for me. Again, I don't care how you do it, I would love to have an accurate easy to confirm weight for each sled. Wouldn't that be a great job for a magazine that does the group test anyway. Apples to apples to apples. Along with a test ride and some other data that would really help me decide what sled to buy in the spring when the best deal can be had. I wouldn't buy solely on weight alone but that is important to me and it shouldn't be so hard to come by an accurate number.

the new M could be a lot lighter if ac wasn't more interested in the 4 strokes now. sure this will be the last platform you see with a 2 stroke for them. think they really threw the 2 strokers under the bus using the exact same chassis for the 4 and 2 strokes. a lot of unused area's when you put the 2 stroke in that chassis, sure a lot of it was overly built to accomodate the weight of the 4 stroke. imo for the 2 stroke guys its a step backwards...

431.5 pounds for the 12;) from what i've read the change in the cylinders is just the mounting boss for the new injectors. the half pound is for the beefier tunnel braces.

Doo

800 sum x 154 - 459 / N/A / 10.6 gal

These are just estimates based on fuel capacity/dry weight I would imagine.
Take it all with a grain of salt.

Impressive, eh ? Add 10 gal. of fuel plus oil and coolant and the fat cat will weigh 50-plus lbs more than a Pro ready to ride ? Wow !! Sure glad I didn't buy buy one of them chubby kitties.

This is like WyoBoy1000 bait... :pop2: haha

I wish they would use fully loaded weight too. No one rides dry and everyone leaves the parking lot with a full tank no matter how big it is...

Ha true. its so hard not to scratch it tho! lol :boink: We just need some snow to ice it.

Anywho... I really would like to see someone put their Pro on a scale ready to ride right before they throw it on the trailer... just out of curiousity. No math.

If u search back in the threads last year Vohk weighed a pro ride as it came delivered...full chaincase..coolant ..and just enough fuel to run..weighed 452lbs ..they also weighed a proclimb out of the crate not that long ago with same fluids at 490..so with fuel they should only be 30ish lbs apart considering the proclimb holds a gallon less fuel
