I know there probably is no info on the 2012 Pro but has anyone ran the Dynoport y-pipe, pipe, and can with V-force reeds on the 2011, I have heard there is a 10-11hp increase, no need for a controller and there is no issue of det because no compression change in the head, seems to be a safe alternative to a head because nof not having to watch your elevation changes so closely, I know they are popular on ski doos but having trouble finding any info on the pro???

dynoport setup

have a full exhaust setup on 011 pro,not a 10 hp increase,more like
5 hp,ya get power from pipe only, not can,y-pipe for better exhaust flow,
i run 9-10000 only,w/no controller,is a notice seat of pants diff.,these things run great stock, but this is better buuzz,is 1150$$,if that is issue,i think is better
setup than slp,he keeps better back pressure in his system, make sure your
gas is 91 oct. hard to trust gas now days,my pro keeps up w/ my 09 m-1000 w/extras,bdx dd lite++ ,w/cut stock head, enjoy the pro better 50-60 lbs. lighter, anyway call rich he knows/tests his **** before he puts it out the door,
++not to many people have a kickass 09 m-1000+011 kickass pro side by side
day in+out, enjoy yer ride, while we can, cause the bo bastard gonna try +uck
it up

I ran the full dynoport exhaust all last year with no issues. Just make sure you run good gas. You can get a PC5 and add a little fuel and still run 90-91 octane also though. You'll need to add 2 grams of weight to the primary to avoid hitting the rev limiter. I would stay away from the Vforces and just do the Boyesens instead, longer life IMO.

I did happen to talk with Rich earlier in week and he was thinking about 2-3 hp out of y-pipe, 5 from the pipe, none from the can and an additional 3-4hp out of the Vforce reeds. He stated fine without a controller on the 2011 and should be fine on the 2012 as long as Polaris didn't lean anything up. I just havn't been able to talk with anyone or know of anyone running this setup, I had heard that Polaris did change injectors for 2012, not real familiar with Polaris, switching over this year from a ski-doo. I'm debating between this set-up, a stage 3 from SLP, or a Power addiction head and HPS can??? Thank you for your info..

Uneasyrider, Thanks again for taking the time to post!
Dyno Port's dyno on your video shows 148 HP to 150 HP on page #29 post #287, that is stock correct?
Dyno Port's exhaust system appeared to make 159 HP with out a fuel controller, is that correct?

Dyno Port deserves a big thank you for all of their excellent work!

The last post from uneasyrider:
Yes the runs are completely stock sled and it made 148-150hp with 87 octane in the tank. The full Dynoport exhaust did make 159 hp with the same 87 octane and no fuel controller, I managed to get 1989 trail miles on it running the exhaust the whole time with no problems. I would suggest buying Dynoport for all you 800 pro ride power seekers'

and an additional 3-4hp out of the Vforce reeds.

I've never heard of true gains from just the reeds. Most have said to not spend the money. I'm sure they can help the overall system, but not 3-4hp from just the reeds.

I think you over 5000 altitude guys will find there is tremendous performance value in compression far more so than exhaust. That's what my experience has shown on the PRO.

And from my compression tester! :face-icon-small-win:face-icon-small-hap

I will say that Rich Daly knows his stuff tho and has never disappointed me with my other sled's exhaust systems.

Have FUN!
