2012 Pro RMK 800 cuts out and dies

I was hoping Polaris stopped getting their electrical systems from 1975 Austin Healeys but I guess not. At least the motor holds up. I sure do like how my Pro shreds the trees so I gues I am stuck with it

replace the regulator, have the stator checked for spiking and ECU as well, then have a compression check done as I've had this issue take out my motor twice.

So when it cooks the ECU, the sled doenst run at all? I will mention it if it turns out being the regulator. I talked to the service manager at my local dealer. He said that the gauges and lights usually go out before the engine dies on the regulator problems that he has seen. I didnt notice anything erratic with lights or gauges.

Did you ever get a definitive solution for your issue? Having similliar issues
