"Travel Advice:
There’s a good chance of another natural avalanche cycle over the weekend. Travel in avalanche terrain during periods of heavy loading from snow and wind is not recommended without professional-level safety systems or guidance.
Be wary of travelling in thin, rocky or sparsely-treed areas, where triggering a persistent slab is more likely. Avoid freshly wind loaded terrain features.
Convex rolls are prime places for triggering wind-loaded slopes.Space out and look over your shoulder regularly when you’re riding a snowmobile to keep an eye on your buddies.
Give cornices a wide berth on ridges and avoid travelling underneath them.Watch for signs of instability like recent avalanches, whumpfs, or shooting cracks. If observed, back off to lower angled terrain."
