2012-2013 Season

I will again try to post and keep everyone up to date on conditions and things at Togwotee Lodge and pass. Dropped the ball a little last year, but will try again.......here's hoping for a big snow season.....come one, come all to the greatest show on snow....

Tuesday it rained, hard..........wind, a good old storm. Wed. morning with sun and bluebird skies we saw the tops of the Tetons with a covering of new snow.....sure gets one excited.....its coming....

Howdy Carter I have a Polaris 2010 rmk 800 dragon and am wondering what weights you recommend for out ther and clutch springs I should put in. I have been out there the past two years and thought the sled should be doing better. The second year I lightened up the weights. But last February I talked to you up at the lodge and you recommended changing my springs. But I can not remember wich ones I should put in. I am running low rpms out there topping out at about 7950rpm. Any help would be great.

Sled is here......for 2 weeks now. Dealer taking his sweet time.... thats ok,not enough snow just yet......

I don't know Carter the parking lot looked pretty good today......
I'm not sure I can wait until the end of the month to leave???
Of course we usually ride around on the first flake here...:face-icon-small-coo

Anyone planning on riding in togwotee over thanksgiving? Or anyone know how much snow they have?

usually we try to wait till the snotel is near 40" (or more). LOTS OF LANDMINES UP THERE. early season riding on low snow means wrecking sleds on submerged rocks, logs, and stumps. with only 16" on the tel now, i would not go next week for thankgiving. your results may vary. Ski
