2011 pro injector issues

so i have a pro 2011 that i have had 2 sets of 11 injectors in and both failed. so i decided to try 2012 injectors. will this work ? and do i need to have ecm reprogrammed ?

It's my understanding that there is only one replacement injector available.
Yellow part #4014242, the red and blue have been discontinued because of issues they cause. If you change color you need a reflash.

You need to get a '12 ECU or a brand new one and have it programmed to a '12.

There is no program you can put in the '11 ECU that will work with the '12 injectors in stock config. You might be able to find someone who has a controller box that will allow you to do it, but you can't use anything stock '11 program.

And the way the ECU works, once it has a year programmed in to it you can't change it. So you either get a '12 ECU and have the dealer program it to your '12 injectors or you buy a brand new ECU that has no program in it and have the dealer program it for a '12.
