2011 DURAMAX

The obvious question is why Ford does not out source unitl they can get it right......??

Lets see...........6.0000000000, 6.4 not much better.......6.7, maybe, and I hope so, but their track record is pretty poor.
I am never proud of a poor decision, but that is just me.

Early 6.4's had few issues but the rest are bullet proof motors the 6.7 is already provin its point as well. The 6.0 was a pos though

If they don't fix the issue of snow sucking into the air filter and going into limp mode, I won't buy another D-max. Nothing like buying a truck to go sledding and can't drive it in a snowstorm.

Thats the first I have heard of the 6.4Ls having issues with sucking in snow on the stock intake. I put my 08 6.4L throw many drifts and never had an issue....only Issue I had with the stock intake was when running my spartan 275 I could suck the filter minder down into the red

Any one with a 2011 Dmax had any DEF issues? I have had a few glitches and its startin to P!SS me off!! Any GM techs can chime in, I have heard alot of soft wear updates ect ect, today I got "service exhuast fluid system now" on the dash. Its extremly cold here but it has been all winter

I had a 2008 gmc, not a duramax but i have to say the interior is very cheap, and the cab is super small compared to the dodge and ford....and that is where you spend all your time........gm needs to pick it up in the interior department like fords and new rams and really needs to add 4-6 inches to the cab. I have a 2010 ram crew and im loving every minute of it, seat 5 6'+ guys if needed and there is a ton of leg room and i believe the fords a bit bigger....Oh and also i dont know if my rear doors on my dodge open up 90 degrees but i know the gms open like 60 degrees, so putting larger things in the back seat for security over the box is a impossible.

turns out that ford should of taken some bailout money .......then they could of built a real performer? P.S. you won't be able to view the GMC interior anyway..........cause the demax's will be too far ahead of you guys for you to see it...............just having a little fun here!
