2010 Mountain Chassis??????

obviously PUD has never ridden with a well set up M1,the closest an XP gets is when they are on the tow rope, seriously PUD,get out of the Cat forum and go hang out with your Doo Doo buddies and tell each other how good they are.and btw are you like 12?

oh i have actually a guy who has hours of clutching done to make it work and it does go good but has slp full pipe fuel control box and other odds and ends on it and it beats the stock 800 when they leave side by side up the hill but not my much. imo 160 hp to 143 (and thats actual dyno results) plus the stuff it has on it shouldnt be in the same ball game.... i was really impressed by one m1000 this year a 07 went up the hill quite quickly beating the marks but then found out it had a turbo....

PUD3 maybe you missed his name it ends in M7 not M1000. He was commenting because he was able to beat an 8 with a 7. So he is reasoning that if he can beat it with his 7 a 1000 would have no problems at all. His 7 is set up very well, and works pretty good on the hill. He is a good rider and can hold his own. I had an XP climb nearly as high as my old 1000 this year. But he did ride up my down track to do it. I gave it crap about poaching track all the way up. And at least the guy is honest he said it was the only way he was gonna get there.

As for the chassis, OK take this with a grain of salt as I am still on a T-Cat. I rode the 09 M8 at Arcticman this year and really like it. I would be willing to give up the big hp for the lightweight easy to handle sled. It was just a joy to ride. I pounded it down bumpy trails and man the new rear skid is on par with the Holz I have under my T-cat if not better. Track works great in all conditions. I really liked being able to do a U turn coming down hill with ease the carvablility (I know its not a word) was great. I will own one in the next year or two.

you must have a really well set up thunder cat mod because all the ones i see climb bout as well as a 600 older rmk.... thats the thing some people get right excited when they beat lets say the dragon 800 no one sees if you dont know the guy you go high mark him then your the coolest guy going because you beat the new sled well for one rider is a huge part of sledding even in highmarking it takes some skill if you can read the terrain you will have a better mark.

Ya, my T-cat if far from stock and I will be the first to say we need not compare a mod sled to a stock sled. T-cat is 520 turning a 162x16x2.25 with Holz skid under it. Making an honest 185-190HP. I'm not a little guy 6'5" 250 so it provides the power required to keep up with guys on 7's & 8's There are days I get the mark and there are days I don't sure do like a good challenge though. I think its fun to watch young guys on new sleds (read haven't figured out how to ride them yet) sit at the bottom of the hill and wonder how the old guy on the heavy triple just went where they couldn't. As you will point out it has a lot to do with the rider, and I have been riding my same sled in a number of variations for 9 years now. I get that you are poking fun to get a reaction as you do in a number of posts. Its all good, the snow it getting kinda sparse around here to.

Heres to a great 09 season!

haha yea good season for sure.... good post :beer;

Come on pinny slow down. There are actually a few of us on here that get useful info on here, very much appreciated. Yer throwin' a lot of shots at some of these guys. I can't say I would ever want to respect anything useful you might say in the future. By the sounds of it you kinda know some stuff about sleddin, but you waste yer valuable time pissin' these guys off. Unfortunately you look like aj ackass and somebody tender might report your unacceptable family and gender preference comments to an administrator. Do yourself a favor, there's a fella on the skidoo forum that needs some help gettin his XP started. He seems relatively nice, I was unable to help him. Do you mind helping him out? SLEDIOT....................

well l love the cats...but realistically every canadian taxpayer owns a doo because of the millions /billions of goverment dollars that has gone to Quebec and yes BOMBARDIER...SO EVEN THOUGH EVERY ONE OF US CANADIAN TAXPAYERS OWN BOMBARDIER...MANY OF US STILL PREFER OTHER BRANDS....me a prefer Cat...man if CAT had access to the taxpayers pocket the way doo has had for years theY would be ten times the machine over doo rather then the current 5 times
One of the reasons I wont ride Doo is the fact they are from Quebec, where they speak french and discriminate against english speaking folks{Canadians and Americans}Canadian taxpayers money may have helped them along, but they sure wouldnt get any more of my money.I love my Cat,but I'd ride Yammi or Polaris just to avoid buying a Doo!!!

I am with you here SLEDIOT.....

A little brand bashing back and forth is part of the deal on SnoWest, but PUD3 you really need to get something better to do than post 30 times a day flaming everyone about everything. Sometimes you are good for a laugh, but a lot of times you act like a 12 year old. Don't be another internet tough guy because you sit in your jammies behind the safety blanket of your keyboard.

I wasent aware i was a good rider:D Dunoo Tims Dad Almost handed it to me. 63 year old man on a rev... good times. When Oct comes tmc. lets go ride. Ill have a new track. And Maybe Some Stickers From PUD saying XPS ARE SLOW.

I bet you are just some fatty with to much money (that your daddy gave you) who thinks because he can out climb people with 30,000 sled he's cool. just my thoughts.

O and for the record homo it is not polish like in a wheel, it is polish like the country. Go back to sucking on daddys bank acount!

I would still like to ride with you though if you make it to washington! Give me a call.

Man you shure are sucking the rev ****. All brands have their perks. The xps are great for the trails, no doubt they have more power. As far as a mountain sled in that chasis it doesnt work well except for the point and shoot. The XPs are by far the hardest to manuver in the snow, more so than the 600lb yami's. I love the way the m-sleds handle in the deep stuff and I think the polaris sleds are a close second. All I know is that I have never exploded a belt(I'm now on my second belt), trew a crank or replaced my top end in 2500 miles that I've had my sled.

oh im sorry i wasnt around 6 years a go to know what you said on here..... but that still dont change the fact that cat has been taking baby steps for years and the loyalists keep buying them....

why mess with something that works good, and as far as im concerned, aside from yamahas the cats are the next best reliable sled, i am not dissing doo, i like them and they work good, but to be honest i have seen way more revs and xps pulled out from the steep and deep then any other sled, and i mean ALOT more.

Can't we keep retarded threads like this in the mountain/deep powder forum?

This is stupid, you guys need to move to somewhere where you can still ride.
It's mid season up here, better things to do than yap about a sled that doesn't exist & listen to a tool that can't do anything but talk smack.
