2010 Dragon 800 mid range bog

Just wandering if anyone else has had this problem? From mid range to full throttle it will bog for a split second. The sled runs great except for this bog.

Got the same problem!

Have the Fix Kit, SLP Pipe, air horn, and a power commander V.

Have yet to figure it out!

Had the same problem until I change my PC5 map. I added a little to the mid range (2-4%). If you PM with your email I can email you the map I use to look at. 09 800 dragon fix fit, slp 13.2-1 head, slp single pipe/can & PC5.

The April 2010 flash is richer than the january flash. If you have the April flash and are running a pre April PC3 map, you are very rich. Check your flash and map dates.

Thanks for the reply's guys.

I for one am running the stock heads right now.
I will send an email to SLP and see if they can tell me what flash and Map I should be running!

Another idea for you. If the "bog" feels like a dead (lean) spot right at the point that you hit the throttle then try enabling the accelerator pump feature. Start with trigger 5 duration 25 adjustment 5. You may need to increase the duration, adjustment or both.

Use this if you feel the fueling is ok in the mid as it will help fuel economy as opposed to blanketing the mid with more fuel

How do you tell if it a lean spot?

and I assume these adjustments are in the PCV?

Lean upon sudden throttle movement feels like a hesitation, dead, empty, nothing etc right at the point that you hit the throttle. A severe lean will backfire (pop) through the intake.

Yes you need to hook up the computer to the PCV to set this up. > Power commander tools > configure > feature enables and input selections
