spent some quality time with some 2010 cats this week . . . Let's just say that doo will not be holding the number one spot next year. I was riding my 09 summit x against a 2010 m8 . . In a drag race i pulled away from it, but drag racing is not mountain riding, and on hill climbs it spanked me regularly. When i rode it, the results were the same . . Very nice sled, cat finally added some ponies in 2010!! The doo is getting traded off for a burandt edition m8 turbo rtr for next season . . . Looks like i'm back on a cat.

who said the doo held the #1 spot this year ? I wasent impressed and after i road one of the vibrating nose heavey beasts i really was not impresed.

I have ridden with and on numerous 09 800 Cats with the pump gas turbos including the RTR. I have ridden the 09 800 Cat with the Race gas turbo. I personally own a 07 Dragon with a race gas turbo. I have ridden what is expected to be the production 10 800 Cat and two other versions with small differences between them, (153,162,HCR). With that being said, the 10 800 Cat is very impressive. I would love to own one. I may not for other reasons. It has great power, not as much as an 09 with a turbo, but very impressive. It may get close to the same spots as a turbo but just not quite as fast. You can argue back and forth all day if you want but many people will be extremely happy that they made this purchase. Also the 10 will have a better ride through the rough stuff than the 09 due to some different shock calibrations.

SnoWest Magazine did, and last year as well. Ya know . . The very Magazine that hosts this forum............ They hold number one in sled sales as well.

actually they said they were all close and did not declare an outright winner but did hint toward the m8
yes ski doo does sell the most but if that make a difference to you then dont buy an arctic cat next year because they will be outsold by ski doo again

I started this thread to share my experience with the new M series cats, wich very few people get to do this early in the season. I was very impressed with them, enough to jump ship, but most of the replies are from pi$$ed off Doo & Poo riders that can't see past their front bumpers to realize that another sled might be better. I'm moving on now, so peace out!

Sweet, I get to ride a 2010 next week....pretty pumped. Duke it out with the ol 07 rev. I wish the all black snow check model came in a 162" tho.....I know colour is not a big deal but 14K for a new sled should get a couple choices.
