2010 ac m8

Spent some quality time with some 2010 cats this week . . . Let's just say that Doo will NOT be holding the number one spot next year. I was riding my 09 Summit X against a 2010 M8 . . In a drag race I pulled away from it, but drag racing is not mountain riding, and on hill climbs It spanked me regularly. When I rode it, the results were the same . . VERY nice sled, cat finally added some ponies in 2010!! The Doo is getting traded off for a Burandt edition M8 Turbo RTR for next season . . . Looks like I'm back on a CAT.

OK!!!!!Jack **S

How much are you being paid to put this BS on the message board. You are sounding way too scripted. Put this on the Cat A** kissing board would ya!!!!

And one last thing. Hell isn't gonna freeze over due to global warming so don't make sledding plans any time soon, Marsha!!!

think this post is just a preview of what your gonna be reading all next season, although the orange on the 10 doo's is awesome...

I am up early this morning because I get too go ride the 2010 myself today. I am excited and I will post my honest opinion when I return. Anybody else wanting to demo the new cat in the Crowsnest Pass area we are meeting at Wranglers cabin around 2:00PM.

Cheers,
Dave

Ya know . . . I took alot of crap from guys on here when I bought my Summit x after riding a cat. Now when cat builds a better sled for next year your butt hurt again. You brand loyal idiots make me wanna puke!! I'm gonna ride the best, and I don't care what brand it is. I love the new XP's it has awesome throttle response, is unbeleivable in the deep powder, but it's sidehilling ability is ok. I can sidehill across a cliff with it, but It don't compare to the cat. I like to ride in the trees, and have found the new cats are a better fit for that kind of riding. Cat has finally added horsepower, and a new track that works very well, While Doo has added 16lbs of weight to strengthen their weak chassis. This means that cat will be the better sled in 2010 . . . If this upsets you then TOO BAD!!!, wait for 2011

You are going to love the rtr. I havn't rode the 2010 but I rode an rtr in Cooke. That was the funnest sled I've rode in a long time and you couldn't give me a cat for the last bunch of years. I ride revs. and a t nytro. I think the nytro is gone and I will have a cat. I might do a 09 until they figure the 2010 out. Boondockers hasn't played with them yeet to see how turbo friendly they are going to be.

every m8 i ride with has the slp kit on it so they are comparable to the 2010 horsepower, i dont see why anyone would buy the 2010 instead of a 09. just put the slp kit on it and be money ahead

and you don't think there will be pipes available for the 2010 models, put a pipe and can on the 2010 M8 and look out:D

you may be right, from my understanding there is a new pipe , y-pipe on the 2010, that is how they made the extra HP, so thete might not be room to go in that direction:). we will see i guess

there is always room, the aftermarket does not have to follow all the rules the manufactures do, you can bet that the aftermarket boys are already working on stuff for this sled:D

The entire engine has been reworked for 2010 . . same case new internals, with larger fuel injectors, and better mapping, Improved y-pipe, and pipe. Stock for stock this thing kills the 09 M8's . . in fact it was running neck and neck against an 09 RTR pumper. When they get the turbo on this thing . . . I can't wait!!!

I ride a doo and do not really care what anyone else rides so long as we all have fun, but if the 2010 M8 runs neck and neck with a 09 rtr it says one of 2 things. The 10 is either one he!! of a ride or the 09 rtr is not worth it's weight in sh!t. No way that 10 should keep up with the rtr. But hey if it does kudos to cat and I'm sorry for all those who dropped the coin for a turbo. I hope the 2010 M8 does run that good. I will be buying new in 11 and it only ups the anty for all the manufactures to get my business.

And the BS flag erects! I'd sure love to see a stock M8 run with a turbo. The RTR's also have EZ Ryde skids, Boss seats, and go fast Chris Burandt wraps! No way...

I just spent 3 days riding with Chris Burandt, and only his personal "race gas turbo" has an EZ Ryde skid. Keep in mind that the pump gas turbos are not the tail walking screamers you see in his video. They are mild in comparison.
Burandt has 5 2010 M series sleds in his fleet, and we did run them against the 09 RTR's. But I guess you know better than me.
