2010 800 Dragon-MID RANGE STUMBLE!!

I actually switched from the '09 RMK 800 to the '10 Ski Doo XP. I only get to spend 10 days out West per winter and I didn't want to waste them with a stumbling issue. I got cold feet and sold the sled but looking back, the PCV would've fixed the issue from what I've seen on a buddies D8. My buddy really likes the sled with the new controller. I'm sure Polaris will come through with another fuel mapping and all will be good.

I also ran mine with a PCV today. Totally amazed. Cleaned it right up. midrange is perfect now, no stumble or bog what so ever. top end is still a bit rich maybe. Got it to bog down to about 7000 a few times, but throttle out for half a sec get back on and she screams. Can't even compare it to the how it ran before. Whole new sled.

whats this pcv all about and what does it all entale do you just plug it in and go or are you going to be on the side of the trail changing stuff all day? What would its website be to read up on it but I doubt I'll be interested if a guy has to mess around with it all day till you get it right.

I installed the PCV on my D8 and it is a pure plug and play fuel programmer. Installs in minutes. Dynotech Research will preload a fuel map for you. Also, they are continually refining the fuel mapping out in the feild and on the dyno. And when new maps come out, you can download the new map from Dynotech's website.

PCV or new reflash at higher elev

I have already asked in another thread, but is anyone running the new flash or the PCV at 8-11,000 ft. Just curious/excited to get my sled running right again.

I have 200+ mile on my 2010 800 155" put in a new helix and spring, I am at 0 to 2500" elevation. Had trouble with pulling 8300RPM, now with my new clutch it pulls hard all the way thru. Some of the dealers change the clutching for the altitude some dont, and the team secondarys really like to up shift a little to fast for me. So if you are haveing problems this might help. I do like polaris over the other brand, I know there are some bad issues right now but go to the other brands and there the same amount of problems with cat injectors, flimsy front ends skidoo, i wont even start on yamaha.
hope this helps.
any info on low RPM's and fixes would be nice.

got my A$$ handed to me by a stock 2003 artic cat F7 today

I'll bet $100 you were drag racing on a lake or packed road...

If thats the case....I'll take the short track F7 over the long track with 2.4" paddles every single time....

go line the 2 sleds up at the bottom of a hill with some powder and I'll put my next paycheck on it that you'll see a different result.
