There is fresh snow this morning on the hills around town. The Snowmobile Club and Grooming Society are getting prepared for a great season. Hope to see you up on the hills!

Sleds in the near Future "I hope"

I went up Queest mountain and Owlshead on Oct.30-31st with my quad and I could see the Queest mountain tower from the back way in where I finally got stuck There still wasn't that much snow for this time of year but enough to wet the appetite for what is yet to come. Need to get my pics up but by now hopefully should be more than double the white stuff. At about 6 kms from the Queest chalet there was just over a foot. Hopefully this will get the locals posting some more recent info. Anything guys, Please.:hungry:

I'll be riding Sicamous in 1 week with about 4 people. I hope we can find some fluff while avoiding the land mines.

We have a trip planned from jan 10-15 in sicamous and revy, what type of riding have you had around this time in the past? I was just curious becuase this will be my first time to sicamous/revy sleddin. Any info helps. Thanks

First Ride!

My son and I were up on Blue Lake for our first ride on Sunday:face-icon-small-dis. We unloaded at about 14k (4500ft) and then had a pretty rough ride to just above Cummins Lake - lots of open creeks and obstacles. The last few k were fine. There was about 2 feet at the cabin and 3 feet at the 7000ft mark. Had a blast playing on the meadows and some of the slopes. We need another couple of feet down lower and the forecast looks like we might get it.
In any case, it was a day of sledding!

thinking about heading up queest this weekend! ill let you guys know how it was if i do make it up.

Let me know what conditions are like.A freind of mine needs too get to Queest Village to his cabin,he left his inverter on and wants to get into there before the batteries go totally flat.We need to know where the snow starts and how deep it is at the 17 km.mark.

Thanks,
Dave

Went up yesterday with Team Newfie, found 4-5 feet in places. Went over Skinny and down on Morton Lake. There are 2 layers of ice on lake , not 100 percent safe yet. Lots of rocks around, marked as many as we could. Had a blast and no carnage! Boondocked in Video bowl and Down around Bowl Cheers, Rene.

Blue Lake

A team of us did Blue Lk on the 20th, unloading is anywhere between 6 and 10K. Water bars still open on the way up and a couple of 3-4' crossings but, with this cold weather they could be freezing up now. Only went as far as Blue Lk itself, about 4-5' of snow, no base but no problem for the Nytro!! After doing a little Cat fishing in the lake and getting our limit we headed out, should be a great season! Sherm
