Ya it came off on the way down, had it wrapped around my jerry can and it got bounced out on that nice smooth trail lol. The sno borders came down after us and they say they never seen it either. It was nice to finally meet you there sofa king, thanks for blasting trail into the meadows for us, we had a blast in there.
WOW first time meeting the LEGENDARY Sofa King!!! HAHA Roger you hope you are around beginning of Feb!!!

Conditions on Frisby, Boulder Etc? Has anyone been up lately? What's the depth at the cabin? Whats the approximate recent snowfall? We're traveling from Montana on 27th of January and hoping there'll be some powder up top

we rode fri and sat on boulder. The marker at the old cabin was at eight feet. It was wind blown in some area's and in others it was waist deep
. This was my fourth trip to Revy this season and finally a person didn't have to worry about bouncing of rocks and stumps and the creeks were filled into
. It was pouring rain when we left town sunday morning, lets hope it was cold enough up top to keep the rain away!! It was raining hard enough that I thought it was summer time

I"m from Montana (makin a trip end of January) and usually when we see rain or rain/mix...it usually means there is going to be rain the valleys and snow up top? I see Revy is calling for that type of weather situation with about highs of 41 degrees F (5 degrees Celcius) in the valley....can we expect there to be snow up top in this situation?

For sure it will be snowing up top. Went thru revy yesterday and it was a total whiteout in town.. if your wondering what kind of snowfall has been happening up top visit the RMR snow report website. http://www.revelstokemountainresort.com/CONDITIONS/Snow-Report.html
The ski resort is just across the valley from boulder and their snow measurements are taken at roughly the same elevation as the cabin.. maybe a bit lower. They also have several live webcams to see if its socked in up top, hope that helps.

We have a trip planned for Feb 2-7, staying at Smokey Bear. What are conditions like at Frisby and Boulder? How are the highways coming from Calgary?
Is it fairly safe to ride or are there a lot of possible avalanches? Any areas in particular to stay away from?
Thanks!! I really appreciate any info. My crew wants to head to Yellowstone if it's not safe in Revy. I would rather ride Revy though!!

Should be a new system buy the weekend to freshen things up. Cold this morning -16c but better than 36c at home.....yikes. When to an area other than boulder yesterday and it was over the handle bars and snorkel deeeeep. with no hint of old tracks

Three of us are headed up next Tuesday to ride through Sunday hopefully the snow is good! Looks like your going to get a little bit of freshies in the next couple days and then sun. When the weather report shows 5-10cm in town what does that mean for higher up in elevation?
