I will admit it was not my day today. :rain:Kind of ironic that it was the Vintage day and Mike had his best outing in years.:cheer2:

I am sure there will be lots of pics to follow that will not even come close to showing how really bad I was today. There are cat holes everywhere on the hill.

Sitting here at the goodman warming shelter tearing up all the new snow for all you that are doing the bucket run tomorrow. BTW Mike has been stuck a lot today.

So are you going to come back tomorrow and help tear up more powder after the bucket run that you didn't get to today?

Ride Report 3/5/11

Dayton ride... trails are in super good shape (met the groomer), new snow, should be a great day for the poker ride tomorrow.

For those riding Pomeroy/Cloverland on Sunday, stop by Misery Cabin as CB 8 is cooking burgers and he will be signing autographs...

Remember the burger feeds go to the Club:light:

Nope I got cook at misery tomorrow. Not much left to tear up. We tracked up almost everything from griffin to to little turkey.

Oh ya were bringin the yami tomorrow.

You will have to come back soon as we have some great stuff down Eckler that we haven't been able to hit for a couple years until we get enough snow. There are some logged areas that will give your logged areas in Pomeroy a run for their money. Nobody had been on them yet last week.

I'm sure you missed some of the other areas too. Chase Mt. is an area that not many explore and the fires thinned it out too. I put on 35 miles out there exploring last year.

Well my sled continued to run like crap today, but thanks to the pit crew (Mike) I think we figured it out. Apparently you are supposed to change your spark plugs more often then every three years. Go figure. Seem to run muck better they were pretty fouled. Did not stumble the rest of the day.

Beautiful day on the mountain to bad Mike's grand daughters were sick.

My girls turned some heads with there scoot.:cheer2:

Cassidi rode the all the way up and back with only two spills. That little thing is squirrely on the trail.

My wife cooked some awesome burgers.:face-icon-small-hap

Only got one request for an autograph. Mike I will not sign your XP. A guy has to have some morals.:face-icon-small-blu

Probably McCall next weekend which may wrap up this season.

Going to bluewood tomorrow. Plum is already making excuses. Tha Cat has another fresh DD. We will see if this one make it more then 200 milea. Year warranty and reated for the big turbos. Should work good on the stocker.

Is is it vintage day in Dayton tomorrow??

Ride Report 3/27/11

Riding out of Bluewood today was surprised to find the park empty when we showed up at 9:30 AM... several rigs came in after we got unloaded. Tried to make Table Rock but there were too many opportunities for life's lessons so we turned around and stopped flirting with disaster. Rode back toward Godman and then went out on Eckler... all in all a good day of riding, still some powder at about 5700+ elevation... trails pretty good.

Now we turn to our race season and get the two tar sleds ready to rip up the drag strips (mostly Walla Walla and Spokane, but we have two trips also planned to Boise). Thank you CB 8 for a great season!!!!!! Until next year

Stick a fork in it. I think I am done.

As alway Mike I had a blast! Clutching still isn't perfect. I have been chasing my tail all year with DD problem and trying to clutch around it.:brokenheart:

Mike, you should think about buying a cat as many times as you try to climb trees!
I think I am done for the year unless.......:decision:

I am working on putting together the top ten photos from this year. Stay tuned.:heh:

To the Clokes thanks. See this summer for some Prime Rib.

For the record we need better snow next year. I didn't even attempt the Tailbone, JR, SR, or the $hithole.

Off to prepare the boat and chainsaws.

Rob

Any word if there is actually 8 ft at the snow pole and if it is possible to get there?

the Forest Service rode sleds there.. about 1/2 mile of dirt to get up there though.. went on the Pomeroy side.. I would bet though the Dayton snopark could be better... the trail down low are in the shadows.. so maybe....

Rode out of Rose Springs on Saturday morning. Dumped the sleds off right where the berm was and rode to the Wenatchee guard station. Had only about 100 feet of gravel ride on the way out, warmed up and little more gravel on the way back. Yes there is 8' at the missery marker and some huge drifts, pretty hard though, Snowing at the top. Was 60 degrees plus when I left on Sunday, I would imagine that you might have to drive a little further up the road to dump sleds now.
