2009 Freeride RMK--Any Info.???

I am guessing it will be the long waited RMK1000.

Polaris is going big boy!

(I have no inside scoop or anything, just a prediction)

Edit... the Article says it is based on the 800, but what do they know?

I think polaris needs to perfect being average before they dive into the "Big Boy" market look at the 900 all one can say is ...................

the 900 is an awsome sled,it takes time to figure them out,it was there first year in 05 making them whitch everyone bought one, them sold cuzz they were going thru belts, and the vibration, big deal!

So producing a sled that eats $150 belts and vibrates more than a lonely housewife's best friend is good?

It'll be interesting to see where Polaris takes the RMK line for 09. I really like the current RAW chassis, I'll be giving them a real close look for my next sled.

The Assault is red and has a funky new console and bar setup. The Dragon is white. I'm not sure if it gets the freeride bar and console treatment or if it gets the same bar setup as before. From the photo above, it looks like the trail Dragons get a similar setup to what they have now only with flat bars.

Nice refinements though. New bellypan and fenders, better hood fitment, lighter weight, real bumper, improved swaybar setup, different A arms, different bars... I'd rather see them keep refining what's already I feel the best chassis on snow than try to reinvent the wheel and introduce a whole slew of new problems.

Yeah, but you know how it is on this forum...if that doesn't get done, then that company is a POS and will probably be bankrupt within the next year. LOL
