2003 viper

I have a mountain Viper 700. It has good power but when I am in deep powder it just flat bogs out if the front end is down in the powder. It's just like the exhaust is plug. The air box is clear. Anybody had problems with this or have ideas to solve this problem. I have added a couple vents on dash area and put a little extension on the exhaust deflector but still has not solved it.

mine did it too I removed the screen in front of the pipe [by accident at first]
this cured the problem the pipe steams away the snow I have had no problems with this setup
