2003 polaris 340 121" to 136"

My daughter is at the point a little more track and paddle will help a ton

she has a 2003 polaris 340classic elec start reverse 121" trail track

i would like to put a 136 in a 11/2" under it

local shop was out of my price range to have it done over 1200 bucks and a used track

I need to find a track , tunnel and rail extensions.

any ideas who is the best for parts on polaris
thanks

I've got an Indy Lite that I did that to last month. Picked up a 136x1.25 from a newer 550 RMK for $85 off CL. The tunnel and rail extensions I had from previous sleds.

Not too hard to do once you get the parts lined up. Hoping to try it out on Saturday to see how well it goes.

For small sled you can do easy rail extensions like on the older style phazers / enticers ... simple piece of 3/8" aluminium bolted on each rail and slotted at the back to hod the axel ... find a a track first then a couple of pieces of aluminum flat plate.

finally tearing into the sled
the drive shaft had lost the bearings on the spedo side and never new it
so that adds a bit to the job, but the perfect time to get it fixed
need to drop to smaller drivers
will be going through the clutches , carbs , top end etc making sure all is good for this coming season
have the track 136x1.75
need to get the extensions for rails and tunnel

i will try to put up some photos
in getting it torn down i fing the drive shaft shot
the bearing on the speedo side was toast

so im looking for a replacement shaft with 8 tooth drivers 2.52pitch
anyone have one for sale PM me
thanks

looks like the tracks usa rail extensions are the way to go they look a bit more solid than the SLP

got the shaft and 8tooth drivers

now just need the rails and well start to put it back in

still trying to get the pics up
