I'm looking at buying a 2002 polaris 700 rmk. I just want to know some stuff about the sled. Its got 1700 miles on it and it comes with jets and weights and the guy said he'd meet me half way. He's got it listed for 3900 and i talked him down to 3500, do you guys think thats a good price??? From what he says everything works to.

I sold my 2002 700 rmk 144" for 2800, and it had around the same mile plus came with jets and weigths! plus a new track! maybe I sold it too cheap?
No, he is way to high on the price for the year and that many miles. Where are you and he located? If he will drive half way thats a good deal but the sled is to to high. Hopes this help. By the way Kelly Blue Book list that sled brand new for $2500, thats no miles, no missing paint and no problems.

$2700.00 is high book on it and $2060.00 is low with average miles. I would not go above $2500.00.
I bought my 03 700 VE 151 last fall, paid 3500 and thought that was a little high, even with minor mods like can, intake, florites, scratchers, simmons skis, ATACC, SLP head, new polaris cover, windshield bag, leftys throttle, and mine had similar mileage. You're looking at paying way too much, especially in the off season.
Yeah i thought it was plenty high, my uncle bought the same exact snowmobile during the winter for 3500. I live in Iowa and i've looked at the kelly blue book price to but it seems that everyone is at least 300-500 bucks over the kelly blue book.
It will cut only a hour off my drive time if he goes half way so it will be about a hour and a half drive for me.

I have a 03 700 rmk 151 blue hood for sale. I put simmons skies on it, electronic reverse, ride fx rebuildable shocks, 2 inch riser, nonbreakable pull rope, weights and jets for 6-10k. 5300 miles. Sell for $2500. I am in SD and if you are in western IA iI could bring it to you. If you don't buy this one look for these mods. Also ask about the water pump belt and if they don't know what you are talking about keep on looking. They need to be changed every 1000 miles. Nice sleds. Will keep up with other mt. sleds till the 09 xp and m8 came out. i bought a 10 m8 and will sell this sled.
