Hi guys....I own a 01 F350 and I want some more power from it. Was looking at a bully dog programmer but I read some more posts about them that's not what I want to hear. Don't want to spend 700 bucks and not be worth it. Was also looking at their 6 position switch. So does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

check out powerstroke.org. i would suggest doing the "do it yourself" intake system, get a 4" exhaust and then get the sct3 programmer from Innovative Diesel and have them build you some custom tunes. I LOVED that set up in my 7.3. i also had a built trans which helped get the power to the ground.

I had an 01 dually back in the day and did the 4" full exhaust, the factory upgrade Donaldson severe duty intake, DIY trans upgrades and TS Performance custom chip (multi position switch). It rocked hard and loved it.
Also, the triple A-post gauge package from Isspro. Boost/trans temp/EGT.

The 7.3 is a great, bulletproof motor

Just installed a TS Performance chip in my 2003 F350 with Tony Wildman tunes. So far so good. Really wakes the truck up. Also has improved the fuel mileage from the first few trips I've done with it so far. Also have a 6637 filter on it, muffler delete and a few other little things.

I had a Ford AIS intake, 4" exhaust, Zoodad mod and a 6.0 trans cooler on my 02 7.3 and I went with the Edge Evo2. People can say what they want about Edge stuff, but that thing flat out worked and was inexpensive compared to custom tunes and a set of gauges. I didn't need a hot rod, just a little more power. It was a great setup!

00 6spd 7.3 for me. 6637, muffler deleted and exhaust kicked out in front of rear tire. been running that for 2 years and loved it. just installed a TS 6 position chip with there std tunes, got it for $200 shipped and am loving every second of it. the bottom end is SOOO much more responsive and nice to drive around town, i actually keep it in the 140 tune cruising empty. just have to be more concious to not mat the thing at low RPM for smoke reasons but its definately doing noticeably better on MPG.

and i already have gauges, only time i get hot cruising empty is if i lug it up long slow windy hills. best $200 i have spent in a long time that is all i got to say.

I have the Edge CTS programmer. 50/80/100 hp settings. Touch screen...MANY different settings that you sould select to view.

Can change up-shift points, timing, injector parameters and more...all kinds of fun.

I've really like it. BUT, they are spendy. I'm about $950 into it with the backup camera.
