Debating whether my next sled should be a M sled(probably 1000) turbo, VS a 4 stroke turbo(nytro or doo).
I threw my leg over a Nytro at about 13# of boost, vs a 09 1000M at about 10#, and I REALLY liked the power of the 4 banger. It just felt sooooo different(first time on any 4 stroke, esp turbo). I'm riding a cat 900 turbo at 12# right now, and supposedly about 240 HP, and the Nytro, at 13#, about 240-250? BUT, it felt like the nytro had so much more power than my 900, and the 1000 that I rode. Is this because of the torque curve?
Been doing a little research, and came across MCX dyno on a 1200 doo......torque was about 190#-210# from 6200-8300 RPM!!!!! http://www.mcx.se/ That's amazing! (to me any way).
Can't recall, but I vaguely remember seeing a 2 stroke turbo dyno and the torque was about 145????? and we all know how the torque curve looked, pretty peaky compared to the 4 banger.
Anyways, anyone who wants to chime in, I'd like to learn more. Thanks.....and I'm starting to lean towards the 4 stroke. I know, I know, I'm a slow learner! LOL
