2 LOST IN ALBANNY AREA SEARCH IS ONGOING

Which part polaris dude, because i picked on firecatguy?? If thats what you are talking about leave it alone unless you know the back story behind it.

hahah i am a Pk lot poser!!!!!I like to do donuts around the truck!!!!!:face-icon-small-win:pound::sleep::blah:

Let's hear the real story from the two that were lost, hopefully in a way that will BENEFIT the Snowest community.

There were likely mistakes made and lessons learned that can be shared.

Never leave your sled and be prepared for anything always. There is never a sure thing in the snowies. It was like Gilliggans island and the 3 hour cruise. They will never go so light again.Spots are on the horizon for all of our group. The biggest lesson both learned is your feet need good gear. I dont speak for them just know they dont come here. Paul was let out of the hospital yesterday evening with severe frost bite on both feet. Adam was hobbeling along on his heels. I think both will give foot gear better attention.

Good to know they released Paul, to be honest I had my doubts about saving his toes when I left the other night.

flat landers kick *** .

really i was talking big game???what are you 12? could you please show me where i was talking big game..........my point is you posted that they where in this spot from alcohol!! and that was before they even found them...well how many people read that on sw and never gave it a second thought about helping????

Im from MN so am i considered a flat lander...well i think you guys from out in the higher elevations need to nock this stuff off its getting really old every one of ya that call us flatlanders all think your king of the mountains and the best of the best. Well just look at the pros that come outa MN and i woop up on guys from wyo all the time in the trees...your elevation doesnt indicate your skill as a backcountry snowmobiler and evey one that knows a thing about sledding knows that.
What im asking is you guys that read this please stop this as it is getting very annoying and old.
Thanks, Matt

You are right. I hope there are five or six Minnesota riders up there tomorrow morning to break trail for our group of three amateur riders. I don't know how we can even think about leaving the trail.

I just watched "Schooled" today so now I'm not a flatlander anymore....I can do it all now! :)

Oh gueeze, do we need Snowest to require a driver’s license so that we know the members, or "guests" are at least 16 years old? Oh, and it does mean something living out west, living right at the base of the mountains? It means we are at it all the time, riding trees, riding steep canyons, riding these all the time, not just a few trips a year. I don't mean this in a disrespectful way at all, because a lot of the local people and businesses rely on the tourism that snowmobiling brings into the area. But getting all upset and twisting your panties inside your bibs putting a strange look on your face that can't be seen unless your modular helmet is off, is really not necessary. Whoever said that was just joking around and whether he knows the guy or not really makes no difference.

Just realized we surpassed 75 posts. Don't think tieracing can see anything else because he is not a member. Can somebody please give him 10 dollars so that he can become a premium member? He used up all his allowance from his parents already and due to the colder weather in MN is no longer able to mow laws, weed his grandmothers garden, or paint the neighbors house...

Come on Matt!!
I am from eastern SD so I also am a flatlander. My grandparents were from Finland, so I am also a Finlander. We are what we are man. Nothing wrong with being a flatlander.

Lift up that shield on your modular and smile dude, FLATLANDER PRIDE!! Shred some ice with all those Woodys picks man, FLATLANDER PRIDE!! Ride that groomed trail at 100mph and cover 150 miles today dude, FLATLANDER PRIDE!!

But really man, don't tell us how you are going to whoop up on the mountain boyz cause some pro came from your home town. That is just foolish talk.

Last winter we had an unusual snow fall in flat country. Sometimes as much as 14" at a time. Never mind it all blows into drifts in the road ditches, but there was so much snow that they actually groomed the trails! I heard a bunch of loud sleds heading through town and down my alley way were I was working in my shop. I had to step out and here came a pack of about 5 mountain sleds and went by with their loud cans. Everyone of those guys had avalanche shovels in their packs!:pound: POSERS!!!!!

Matt, did you ride down my alley way that day???

Hey quit with the modular helmet comments also. just cause a guy wears a modular doesnt make him a flatlander that doesnt know how to climb through the trees. I can see out my modular just fine when im climbing around.....Ha ha Glad to hear they are both up and out walking around. Thanks to all that showed up and gave their time to find these guys.
