Friends of the two missing snowmobilers searched late into the night Monday, but came up empty. Twenty searchers headed out at first light Tuesday and located the two missing snowmobilers shortly before 10 a.m.

Rescuers say the two men are alive, but one was in the early stages of hypothermia. They say the men will be taken out of the wilderness by 11 a.m.

The Albany County Sheriff's Office says the two men went to the Snowy Range Mountains on Sunday to go snowmobiling and never returned.

On Tuesday, the crews were out looking amid falling snow, which put visibility at about a half mile, but didn't prevent them from finding the missing snowmobilers.

One of the snowmobilers is 36-year-old Adam Picard from Loveland.

Yes they were found and both are alive, don't know any other details yet as to frost bite or anything

That is awesome news! Good job to everyone who helped with the search from all the flatlanders that were dying to help but couldn't.

I would like to hear how and where they got lost at for myself and my riding group. It will be a lesson learned for all of us. Please if anyone can release some info it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks everyone for posting info and up to date info as to what is going on. Glad they were found and sounds like overall they should be just fine. I'm sure they really appreciate all the effort that went into their safe return!

9 News at 6pm will have an update on the guys along with interviews. Sounds like Adam went to the hospital and Paul is doing ok. These guys are experienced riders who know the area well... A good reminder to all of us that we should always be prepared and tell people when we are leaving and expected to return. THANK YOU TRI CITY CYCLES and friends for all of your search efforts! You won't find another shop better than this!

2 nights in the forest thats gotta be a cold one good to hear they were found in good condition

The Facts
The trip was supposed to be a quick one.
Ap just finished a rail extension on his XP and Paul just got his sled back from Felkers with a new motor and wanted to log some break in miles. Adam said it was clear and beautiful one second and bad the next. They hunkered down that night due to no visibility and had a fire and waited till the morning. When I believe Pauls sled wouldnt start due to frozen carbs. They doubled up on Adams 136 till it ran out of gas. For those that know Adam its true. He now rides a long track. Weather turned and they started walking. Second night was spent in shelter with no fire. Paul said he heard the first group from Tri City drive by that morning and he started to try to get closer and wave his arms. Search and Rescue was just ahead of us and saw Paul. We got Paul and Adam to the old log shelter and got them some water and food. Search and Rescue doubled them out to Albany Lodge. Adam went to the Hospoital with a low body temp and Paiul hung out in the Lodge till his toes turned purple and he headed in to have them looked at.

Tri City employees did a great job of getting the word out. Those of us that ride with Adam all gave info on the route we belioeved he would take and everyone headed up. Albany Lodge was a life saver. When we got there there was a note on the door telling us where our rooms were and we found the doors unlocked. They also kept us up to date with any info they could.Tri City Cycles owner led a group until 4:30 am. Still falling short due to snow depth. It was really deep and seemed to never end. This morning everyone checked in and headed out taking different routes and finally everyone seemed to get there at once. Search and Rescue did a great job and we saw many thru out the morning. Once again the snow was a bear for anything short or under powered. Adam has alot of friends and everyone was determined to find him.
