If anyone is available to search it would be appreciated. Was reported overdue this morning and last heard from at 2:00 yesterday. 2 missing and I believe them to be underprepared going into night 2. Please call Search and rescue or Albany lodge for more info. Keep them in your prayers.

I just got a call and search and rescue did not find them yet. All help tomorrow would be appreciated

Posted on BCR, trying to get a few local guys from Colorado to head up in the AM

It's been years since I was in Search and Rescue, but usually they don't want others riding around and messing up where they're trying to do a search... Is there a local SAR group that's asking for help, or would we just be people with good intentions zipping around all over??

Is there any idea where they were riding?? Not good if they've been out for two nights now. Likely totally unprepared for even one night this early in the season. Weather is supposed to clear tomorrow... Might make searching via air much more practical if that isn't already being done.

Details please!

Oops. I just checked BRC too, and it clarifies that SAR is asking for help... That's not good in my experience.

I'll call the Lodge a little later and see what they say. I could head there early in the morning and help out I think. (The big man is out of town!)

Are either of you (Tec or Snowjunky) affiliated with SAR? Just curious.
Chris

Heading up tomorrow work permitting. I hope to hell they are ok. Adam is one of the nicest guys and always willing to hand.

For those wanting to help...

Sounds like everyone is going out of Albany so the lodge may be the best source for combined information. I know a lot of people who ride with Adam and they've been calling the lodge to tell them where he might have been or heading out of the Albany area searching themselves. Thanks to everyone who is helping out. Let's bring these boys home safe!

Ok, so I've called the Albany Lodge a few times now and it just rings and rings... I found a website for Laramie Search and Rescue, but they just list the president's phone number. That's a little intimidating, and I'm not gonna call the guy who's likely trying to keep everything running smoothly.

Does anyone have any good contact info that I can use to talk to someone without being a pest while they're trying to get things done?? SAR contact info I can use other than calling the SAR president's phone?

Chris

fad isthe president of sar. There is a meeting at 6 am at sheriff's office in Laramie. I just talk to him 10 mins. a go. He said they how no good info on where they rode to.

help

went to meeting this morning. If you can help today please go to Albany Lodge that is where iC is. There will be groups of people heading up to green rock and some out of centennial. they might need help tommorrow so they dont want to burn out there resources today and noone can help tomorrow.

The Albany County Sheriff's Office says the two men went to the Snowy Range Mountains on Sunday to go snowmobiling and haven't been heard from since.

One of the men was identified as 36-year-old Adam Picard is from Loveland. He went snowmobiling with a friend and they were last seen at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday.

The search for the two began at noon on Monday. Search teams with Albany County, Wyom. ended their search around dusk, but four of the snowmobiliers' friends continued looking until they were turned back by white out conditions and deep snow.

Rescue teams plan to resume their search at daylight on Tuesday.
