You must live right by the pipeline and refinery? Oh wait, that is in my backyard. Super Unleaded at $4.17 a gallon here and it's only 90 octane. Supply and demand? Trucking fee's? Taxes?
3.53 for 85 and 3.89 for diesel here in town. Go 32 miles South and it's 3.35 for 85 and 3.65 for diesel. It's sad when you can buy legal diesel cheaper than the Red chit here. Nothing but fcukin crooks in this town running fuel depots. 100ll is 7/gallon and 30 miles west it's 4.60/gallon.

NO doubt about that. It's BS that the price of fuel seems to have no relation to the price of crude anymore UNLESS it rises. 2008 Crude $150 barrel gas $4. 4.25.........now Crude just over $80(for weeks)....fuel here won't let go of $4 I used to say....It's so sad that we are excited about $2.99 gas.

$3.29 here in Norfolk, NE. All summer I would have to fill up before it would got up to $4.00 even if i just filled up (highschool kid can't really afford $4+/gal)
Thats why I drive a little Geo Metro beater car around town.
39-42 mpg. The Cummins gets 18-20 or 12-14 pulling the trailer.
Thats just that much more I can afford to put int the truck and sleds this winter.
I paid $3.54 a gallon for diesel earlier today. Longmont, CO (north of Denver)
Now, go buy some in Eagle County. What is it there, 5.55/gallon? It's just stupid how these prices vary just a few miles apart. 3.60ish right off the I70 in Silverthorne, go past Copper Mt and it's over $4!
I never buy it in Eagle county, that is the advantage to having the ability to go 700 miles on a tank.
Copper is about the worst place in the world to buy fuel. It is higher than Vail and Glenwood. Glenwood is pretty horrible as well.
Best place to get fuel in Summit county is Frisco, it is close to Denver prices. Georgetown is as good as Denver as well.

I think the prices are cheaper in Silverthorne than they are in Frisco. I haven't checked the Sav-o-mat recently but I know he's cheaper than Kum And Go
The stuff right off of 70 is more expensive in Silverthorne than Frisco. In town I have no idea but I'm not going to spend 30 minutes driving around to save a few buck per fillup.

I absolutely hate how much money is made because we NEED to have gas. I can't wait until we no longer need oil and gas to fuel our vehicles and suddenly saudi arabia no longer has tons of money, and when they come to us for food we can go, oh you want food? We'll give it to you for 4 times the cost!
