14' Turpro Build Thread

I just read on Silber's homepage that their kit is a 100% Bolt on kit. No cutting drilling or grinding. So just would know if it was true or not. Clearly, it's not :P

There's no BOV on my Boondocker turbo kit. But i would like to mount it, when i go over 10psi.

Yep, I thought the same when I saw that I had to drill a hole into the tb boot... But it is a $50 dollar boot I can easily replace when I go to sell it the sled or put it back to stock. Gotta get a reference downstream of the tb though to make the BOV work correctly.

Fantastic! Thank You!

Nice work. It's meaner than a junk yard dog!
Questions.
I proceeded with the install of the OFT Racing Billet steering blocks.
Where did you get these?
What took longer? Building the sled or building this thread. Either way, one heck of a job doing both!!!!!:face-icon-small-hap

The OFT Billet blocks I purchased from their website:

Haha, ya I spent a bit of time writing the build thread, but I wanted to share some info back to the community. These forums sure help me out, so I wanted to give back. Thanks for the compliments!

Very nice ride. But what happened to the cot? Did the little lady let you back in the house after the build was done. lol

Haha, luckily the little lady loves sleds just as much as I do. So it is fun for both of us. That is actually my dog's bed. I was tired of his bed getting wet from the garage floor and it also keeps his bed from getting cold from the concrete. He loves it, got it from Amazon for like $50. Worth it for sure.

Nice Pro RMK

Die Hard Poo,
I was wondering why you did not go with the Raptor shocks along with the triple rate springs? Have you rode a Pro with the Raptor shocks and springs? Are the shocks worth the $$$$ vs using the Polaris stock shocks with the Raptor springs? I rode a Pro with the Raptor springs and Polaris shocks only and really liked that combination vs the stock springs.

Anyone with experience please comment.

I haven't rode a pro with Raptor Shocks myself, the reason I went with the spring kit and revalved WE shocks is value. I think you get a good value with the stock shocks. They just need to be valved for your weight and riding style. Then throw on a good spring and you got a good performing package for a fraction of the cost. I am sure the raptor shocks are worth the money, just not for me at this time.
