1100T cutting out

i am wondering if any one can help me out. My 1100T will cut out at wide open throttle. if i go out in the field and punch it it will pull hard. I go to do it again and it pulls till about 6900 rpm and it will cut out then come to and back fire.
It will also do it when I crest a hill and wheelie it will also cut out causing the sled to dive and fall flat.

i was wondering if anyone has had this issue and what the fix for it would be.
sled did it while stock and with a can on it.

It acts like it hits a rev limiter or something cuts out then pulls again.

going to cause some big problems if it does it while climbing.

thnaks in advance for advice

We had some cutting out on one, not at WOT, but the trail in. Turned out to be the plug on the guage just not clicked all the way in. Your problem sounds more specific with RPM, still wouldn't eliminate it being one of the electrical plugs thou...

yes i have been dealing with this since day one.. i now have 450km on it and it comes and goes thought it was the intake and or bad fuel but now im not sure last 2 rides ram 96 octane because thats all i could get and ran good for the first half of the first day then crapped out in the middle of a climb and ran like sh*t till half way threw the second day where out of no where ran better then ever not sure whats going on or how to fix it. also after a long pull once it ran good the octane light started flashing which makes no sense since thought it wasnt supposed to come on unless the octane was to low being 5 points over min it shouldnt be going off... also have ran 91,94 and now 96... only ran 91 once but had no issues so who knows...

I will check electrical connections we have had the hood off a few times might not be clicked in all the way.
It just seems like it hits hard then go to try it again and it pulls then falls flat ill check electrical connections but just not sure thats it.

Thanks

doesnt makes sense in my case since it cut ut half way threw and in the next day half way threw the second morning i pulled the hood and went over all the bost lines to make sure i wasnt leaking and so the connections were un plugged and re plugged in

It doesn't make sense on my end either. It will pull good a few times out and then nothing. Its random. We thought maybe fuel and we didn't notice the octane light, we tried putting Torco Accelerator in the fuel and it didn't help it.

Hopefully someone out there has ran into the problem and figured it out.

yeah ive ran fuel from vancouver bc right up to the yukon so unless everywhere has bad gas its not that

WTF I got the same ****ty prob. With mine but it seems to be Only when i got less then half of the fuel left and running up the steep or on the side,i think its the gastank ,the engine loose fuel pressure because of low fuel and bad a bad shape of the tank ?

Some are having trouble with fuel pickup. If tank is full no problem but when fuel gets low cutting out and backfiring is common.

Yeah thats the problem ,but How are we supposed to fix that ?:( Im getting some thoghts that maybe i try to sell mine ,they have to much problems

I had problems with mine cutting out, losing all power for a brief second then it would backfire and start running again. It was completly random. Come to find out that from factory they left the red wire one the positive side just inside the red boot where you couldnt see it not even attached to the battery it was touching just enough and would cut out most of the time going up hill. In my situation my gauge would completly shut off, easy fix tho

We put a lightweight battery in the sled and made sure all the connections are hooked up.
The fuel thing might be it, but we cant remember it cutting out when we first got it and it had hardly any fuel in it.

The gauge does not cut out when it cuts out and backfires. I will try putting a full tank of fuel in it and see if that cures it, not going to be good if we have to keep the tank full all the time.

Yeah cause i will be stuck in the mountains if it will begin to bog/backfire in the End of the day, cause its often verry steep mountains to climb on the way home.

I have the same issue. The fuel tank is pressurizing due to the vent house on the tank being kinked. I re routed the vent tube hoping it helps. Everytime i release the gas cap and pressure. She ripped. But it would pressurize again. I'm hoping the re route does the trick.

yeah still doesnt make sense for it to be the vent hose ive fuelled up in the on the second day and it didnt run right till the tank was half empty. next time it happens im going to unpulg the battery for 5 min and try and reset the computer and see if that solves it...

Hmmm. . . My vent hose must be kinked too. Mine get wicked amount of pressure in it in the garage even.

Just an option to problem shoot... the fuel pump would get really loud as well when it did it. It did backfire a couple times for it as well.
