1100 Turbo insurance cost

I spoke to my insurance guy today and he mentioned that the other day he had an issue with underwriting trying to get insurance for a customer getting a 4 stroke turbo. Just curious if anyone has had any issue, or if there rates went up compared to 800s

Just put insurance on my 1100 HCR Turbo

$350.00 a year with American Family $500.00 deductible.

Last year my 07 M1000 was $258.00 $500.00 deductible.

I have everything insured with them though, and I am 46 years old and an upstanding citizen with great credit (Yep, they look at your credit scores to help determine rates) so my rates might be a bit different than other American Family customers.

done with state farm insurance! Like a good neighbor state farm is there my a$$! the agent in town told me he won't insure mountain sleds anymore because they are to high risk. Best part is thinking back over the last 5 years his son (also a state farm agent) is the only one i can come up with who has turned in a claim on a mountain sled.. hmmm.....

$687 i paid for a 2009 Polaris Dragon 800 RMK. same coverage

my local insurance(AAA) agent who is an avid snowmobiler told me today that AAA will not underwrite a 1100 turbo sled.

Progressive covers the first 3 grand in value for free, I had both of my turbos covered, just added another 3k in coverage.

Yep, make a claim and it goes up if you are lucky. More likely they drop you. Some of these companies are not ver good when you need to make a claim.
