Well have ran into my first problem with the 1100 turbo, took it out over the weekend and it just wont run! sounds like I have boost leak wistle tone during acceleration and will not build more then 6500 RPM?? No matter what I still love the sled just gotta work out the bugs..

Charge tube times two, had this happen to me second out. Easy fix use two hose clamps for extra insurance.

X3- charge tube

hose clamp, go find some snow and quit riding it around the yard. hahaha

Turbo Dynamics over on HCS reported that there are quite a few TURBO OUTLETS with excessive weld inside them and that the waste gate flaps hit the welds and stick open or partially shut. He was saying he has ground off a number of these welds on different sleds. Seems to be am early release problem for them most part.

Just found the link.

Turbo outlet issue... Sorry

Aw ha

That is exactly what mine is doing. It sounds like it is dumping boost all the time and doesn't run 100%. Thank you:face-icon-small-hap

Watch out... Ben at TD is full of **** more often than not. IMHO that was a ploy to sell more outlets.
If you take one of these apart you will notice its basically impossible for the waste gate to hit a weld in that area. The actual moving part of the waste gate is quite a bit lower than the gasket surface, and moves away from the area in question as it opens.
