Weren't all 09' XP's suposed to have the updated aluminum adjuster?:
our early 09s came with the same old pos
Only the 163's got them....I think some dealers are swapping them, but they are about $50.

dont tell that i said this. but call your dealer tell them that yours is stripped. they will give you a new style one. just give them the bad p.o.s back. dont take no for an answer because thease 09 s were suposed to come with them...... when you get the new one make sure to use blue loc tite and tightn to 74 ft#s. or dam tite with a big wrench. with that said. they work great.

wow...this thread got sideways in a hurry. Now all I can think about are hooters.
I called my dealer and he sent the updated one at no cost for my 09 and also sent one for my bothers 08 at no charge as well. He is by far the best dealer that I have ever dealt with.

called my dealer about this back in early Dec., I didn't get it swapped for free.
I think it was $25.59+shipping, I think the part# is 415129409.
I was able to get a couple of Klim hats for my original adjuster, so it was about a wash for me.

Does anyone have a photo of the replacment one on their sled. Mine is the POS plastic. Would like to know if the BRP replacement is worth it or just buy a new one from an independent manufacturer.
