08 spindles on 05 fusion questions?

hey guys, I'm putting a set of 08 spindles on my buddies 05 fusion, I put them on last night and it seems like the top a arm rod ends are a little short, I have them backed out all the way and the angle of the spindle doesn't look right, I was wondedring if anyone else has changed these and if they had to make any adjustments or add different parts, please let me know, thanks, Ron

Ron, You should not have to do anything special with adjusting the upper a-arm adjustment mount bolt for the new spindles, just adjust it out the little bit that you can and it should be fine. What your going for is to get the bottom little bit of the spindle to look like it's straight up and down, the rest of the spindle has a built in curve to it and will not adversely affect handling.

Make sure you put the tie rods UNDER the spindles. I put mine on top and fought with it trying to align everything. Switched them to the bottom and it worked out fine.

yep did the same darn thing. fought it for a day till i figured it out

Yes put them under and you may need a longer hex bolt for the upper A Arm as well.
