08 Flash/Low Idle

I installed the fix kit and have about 250 miles on it. I just had my dealer reflash to the 08 map and now it idles at 1000. Could this have been caused by them?

I don't think it was the re-flash itself

Perhaps the T.P.S. got "bumped" in the process?????

I'd have them re-set the T.P.S.

Check the TPS for sure.
I did the same thing installed fix kit & 08 flash. Mine was idling low and I adjusted the TPS and works great. The last climb I was hitting 8250 to 8400. A little high so I added 1 gram to weights.
The TPS adjustment is easy, getting the air box in/out is the hard part!

Cleaned throttle bodies and now it idles at 1800. I will still check the T.P.S. Thanks for the help guys!!!

After installing new RK TEK top end , my idle went up to 1800-1850, used to idle at 1750, I guess I should recheck my tps.. had tb's off to check reeds..

What altitude and weight Jeff?

6,000 to 8,000 I have MTX 68 with 1 gram in belly and 1 gram in tip!

Exact same thing happened to an 08 I did the fix kit on. I cleaned everything (throttle bodies and such) with no change. Took it to the dealer and had them flash again, still low idle, then went through the TPS and idle set procedure and it was off. After resetting it was money.
