The Power Commander systems are step in the right direction for sure when trying to get the reliability from these motors. However, they are not a fail safe. There is room for human error. As well, there are so many problems inherent to these sleds it's hard to track down the cause. You may have a lean condition that was actually caused by the throttle body boots de laminating. Or the voltage regulator may have failed causing the ECU to create a lean condition.
I see this is your first post. Welcome to snowest. Please elaborate more on what caused your motor issues and why your dealer won't warranty it. We are finding Polaris is looking for every excuse they can find to void warranty even if they know the added component wasn't the cause.
