07 dragon belt removal

Just bought an 07 dragon rmk and I was curious is the only way to get the belt off the primary is to pretty much break the side panel because there is hardley any room to get it between clutch and fender. I'm A new comer to the iq chassis and it just seems ridiculous. any tricks or hints Thanks

It will come out. Take it off the driven clutch then turn the drive clutch so you can put the belt between a couple of the moveable sheave towers. Then turn the clutch by hand, dragging the belt out with it.

Yeah. You pretty much have to twist and turn it and force it out. I thought the same thing when I changed mine.

this is spot on...once you get it its no big deal...i can take mine off in no time now. just be patient till you get it figured out

I always take the side panel off, super easy takes about 20 seconds max.
