05' 1000

[Cat Man II]

My friend bought a 05' 1000 earlier this year. It is burning a ton of oil. I am going to figure out the current oil gas mixture. What is a good ratio to run in this engine? Know here is the hard part, how do you adjust the injetor pump, what do you need to take off to access the parts?

would it be because he is runnin the sled at a different altitude than what is programmed into the computer? i was on a way lower altitude ride today and she was smokin like mad...at least i knew she was gettin some oil!

The oil injection is controlled by a cable. It is in the injection pump adjustment--see your dealer and have them adjust it down to minimum settings from BRP.

A good dealer will do this for you very quickly and inexpensive.
