5. Ski-Doo 850 Freeride 154
And here’s what else I love about the 850 Summit, be it a 163 (first preference) or a 154 (fresh out of 163s? Grab a 154 then). The fit and finish; the clear bars and perfect grip feel and hook angle; the easy switches; the smooth, compact body lines; the awesome running boards, the smooth power delivery and the brute strength of a handful of throttle all make this a refined mountain machine. And one more thing that really drives home how much I like this sled––SHOT. I’d put it on every sled if I could.
6. Polaris 850 Pro RMK 155
The 155 version of the new 2019 850 Pro RMK is like a trials bike. It’s very poppy, to borrow some MTB terminology. That means the front end is lively and it’s easy to play off of every terrain feature between Seattle and Sheridan. It’s a play sled through and through.
