Thinking about an rmk...

I've been a doo rider since I started riding. I am really brand loyal, however I can't seem to find a doo that impresses me as much as the 2010 rmk. It sounds really dumb saying why I like the poo, more but I am really into subaru's and cars in general, so I really like the projector headlamp, the EFI, and also the fact that it just looks so sexy.
'
I'm really looking at the 600 144" I work at a polaris dealer in alaska and we only ordered one 600 rmk and it happened to be a 144. I really wanted the 155, and most likely if I got it it would be turboed in a few months just because I have a td04 laying around that I'd want to put on it if I got it.

Since I'm new to polaris...could someone give me the low down of the IQ chassis and save me from hours of searching. (also if there wasn't so many issues with the xp chassis I'd consider a doo too, but yah know)

CN:looking at getting a rmk 600, whats there to know

It can easily be 660'd in a year! Some days you'll need the extra floatation of the 155"er and that is where the 144 will lack if you don't keep your speed.

I ordered a dragon 155 after riding an 09. i jumped ship from doo as well. depending on where you ride most, the 144 will do good. if they made a 144 dragon, i'd order that, but i perfer the ride of the dragon over the assault.

I would hold out for the 155 specially since you are considering a turbo... Btw, life long Doo lover in my camp and he ordered a new Poo this year so dont feel alone on this.

haha you loved doo yet you worked at a polaris dealership? i find that funny somehow

How do you work at a Polaris dealership, yet not know a thing about the IQ chassis??? I think I could manage to ride AT LEAST one everyday just by accident if I worked at a dealership. :D:D

*clears throat* I started at the polaris dealer in May and it's only a summer job while I am living in denali, ak. It's actually a really good polaris dealer to buy a sled from. We don't have sale people so all are sleds our products are priced as if they were a lawnmower at a home depot. All our wheelers and sleds are about ~500 off msrp on average. I looked at the orders coming in for 2010 and we're only getting ~30 sleds maybe. We're kind of a small operation and also a carquest lol.

Greenspeed i think you would like a shift rmk. I am getting a 600 155, and with the tipped rails and such it looks like it can fit almost any snowconditions or terrain. But perhaps if your not much of a climber(which being in alaska idk why you wouldn't)a 144 would be great too still

I wouldn't let the 144 scare you off that's my favorite track size, whatever small amount of climbing ability I give up I easily make up for in agility and control.

I went from a 136" to a 155" and never had any problems with the length. Nothing but better floatation and hillclimbing. Skip out on the 144".

MARV1 it's an 09 shift 600 with a 144" track. Got a bunch of goodies on it and about 300 miles. Put it on craigslist and posted here in for sale sections. This was my wife's sled that I rode a month before deploying. Sold my XP to get another sled when I get back. She doesn't ride much so getting rid of this and get another 800 in a few months when I go on leave. Or if it doesn't sell going to big bore it with a kit from Carls.
