That was a nice looking sled Justin...engine/compartment is sooo clean and simple.

Thanks... it was almost too clean. I dont know how, but when we hid a lot of the wiring it was with the EGT wires.. they rubbed and started a very very small fire....

We were riding in from the Round Lake area one night and my sled shut down.... WTF.. opened the hood and it looked like a mini marshmallow on fire... ohhh crap.. luckily it didnt do any damamge.

Here's mine, sold a couple years ago. I was really happy with it. I have been waiting for pics on SW to show up of someone riding it... I will see if I can dig up a pic of the one I did before this. I was actually happier with this one...

First pic is the way it looked when I bought it...

Very nice sled......I saw the sled for sale last year in the parking lot of the Puyallup snow show as a rolling chassis for $3500. I would have bought it if I hadnt already started my project. Is that still the edge x fron end or did you swap it out for rmk edge?

Here's mine, not too heavily modified. 2003 800RMK. SLP single pipe and intake, 159" series 4 ported and clipped (bought on snowest), WPS rail extension, Van Amburg tunnel extension, free Polaris ATV seat (Thanks Cascade Motorsports Bend Oregon!), custom made seat brackets. Just finished the seat yesterday. A snowboard fits up under there even better than i expected and only sticks out about a foot behind the rear bumper. 2 bungies and it's totally secured and out of the way of the rider.

nothing special

Here is my 2003 pro x 440. Now a non ves 700 with turbo. 144" track, soon to be a little longer. I haven't done much to it aside from rebuild the engine and build a turbo kit. Its still in prototype mode and ugly enough it doesn't matter if you thrash on it. :D:D:beer;

This is the first sled I have been on in 23 years and it shows.
The last one was a 1986 indy 400lc WOW what a difference 23 years makes I picked this up in Feb of this year
I can't take credit for the mods but the guy I got it from did a great job it runs and rides fantastic.
the third pic is of the new sled on the second ride I went one way and the sled went the other way which was over a 600 ft tall face that I had just climbed
and was carrying too much speed at the top it caught me off guard:eek: and spit me off the sled made a nice turn and went back to the bottom without me and found a tree go figure! it could have been alot worse.
The pics with out hood are after I did what i could to repair the pan and replaced the pipes but still needs a hood.
this would have never happend if I would have been riding the 86 indy 400
because I would have never thought of climbing anything other than a groomed trail.:D
