so was this a customers sled? any more info like weight? is this for sale? this sled i am guessing is oregon? geeze you have a talent.

Thanks for the post, You are correct it is a customer, but more of a friend, you can tell it does not get riden much, I think he had it out once last year and only a hand full of times the year prior, I don't have a weight but for a 162 it is pretty light and of course it runs very strong with the UBR, it is one of the origional wheelie masters. He has talked about selling it but I would lose a riding buddy if he did, If could convince him to buy one of the new sleds I have I would push him to move it.
It is in Oregon.

Could have been, I know the last time he mentioned selling it, he was asking too much and got no interest, so I recommended just hanging onto it and riding it as it is a nice sled.

Sledhooligan, can i see larger / more pics showing your seat mod? I have an 03 RMK that i want to put a newer style seat (smaller and higher like the new Polaris) to save weight and so i can stuff a snowboard under the back.
Was it very difficult to change over? Did you keep your stock fuel tank?

Nice job on the seat install! That's exactly the sort of thing i'm going for, except i want a little larger seat than that. What kind of material did you use for the supports? Any problems with strength/durability?
I went down to my dealer yesterday and they dug an old polaris ATV seat out of the attic for me. I'm gonna have to trim down the front and sides a little bit to get the shape i want but i think it'll work out perfectly if i can figure out a way to support it as cleanly as you did.
Got my 159" series IV and seat install to keep me busy for a few days. Hopefully by the time i finish there will be some snow!

I've seen that sled before and it's the cleanest, most simple edge I've seen. Very nice, I love the hood and the bars.

Here's mine, sold a couple years ago. I was really happy with it. I have been waiting for pics on SW to show up of someone riding it... I will see if I can dig up a pic of the one I did before this. I was actually happier with this one...

This started out as a stock all red sno check 2002! Carbon Kevlar tunnel, hood, and skid plate and bunch of other light weight goods. Sold it last year and have not been able to find a sled as fun as this one became!
