I was going over my 2014 Pro and came across this piece of keystock about 1.5" long with a groove in one side laying under the motor. Does anyone recognize where this may have come from?
Anyone recognize this part?

I was going to say key stock but not with that groove in it.

It kinda sorta looks like it might have a special purpose, I wish I could figure out where it came from.
I don't recognize it as any part from the sled.
What is it made from steel? is it Magnetic?
It looks very similar to some fridge magnets I've seen before.
No idea how it would have gotten into the sled.

It is made of steel and it's not magnetic. Hmm!! I don't believe anything is keyed on the sled, all splines.
The only key is the flywheel and it is a half moon style Woodruff key. Curious! Maybe a key out of one of the assembly line robots / fixtures?

I have an arctic cat factory hammer that came in my engine bay a long time ago.

It might be a mystery forever or until some catastrophic failure climbing a do or die chute at 11,000' shows me where it should have been.
I had always assumed Cat's were assembled with a hammer, thank you for confirming that for me! LOL
