Yathat motor has a very high pitch whine to it
I have listened to it several times now and I am STILL wondering.
Are we hearing a TWO STROKE or a FOUR STROKE motor??

MPI turbo is all its supposed to be, hope the next line of YamahaBS is true, but they suck with the sleds and we all know it, it's sad

Sounds four stroke to me. I'm afraid this is going to be another hyped up disappointment just like the apex with the new exhaust and power steering.
Anyway Unless it's going to be a lot lighter than their previous two strokes who cares if they make a two stroke.

It's not a 2 stroke fellas..... But all flat landers are gonna like... For us mountain riders your gonna want the Doo.... Just sayin!!
The only motor that would be a real show stopper from Yami or Cat would be a 4stroke Twin 900 out of the YZF 450 R motor, or a 2 Stoke DI Twin...Period.

I think four stroke also. Maybe its just me, but I wish yammi and cat would part ways. I know its not probable. It just seems like they are trying to kill too many birds with one stone.
4 stroke with the cross plane crank is my guess by the sound, im thinking a modified version on the newest R1 4 cyl, maybe around 180-190 hp like the bike has ????? we shall see

Whatever they do they need to up the horsepower.. with an 850 etec coming with almost 180 why buy a Yamacat?? I know id trade mine in a heartbeat for one.
