I have an '05 RMK that I have broken the post twice, so far. I have been able to take it out and weld it up to get me riding again, but I figure I'm due to replace it. The standard answer is get a Fabcraft or Wildchild tube and run it. Since I'm on the taller side of things, I run a 3" riser since it is a good compromise between sitting and standing. If I have a post built, I will probably maintain the stock height and bar so when I am done riding the machine I can drop it back to stock height if needed.
My question: Is there a way, or an advantage, to making the new adjustable Arctic post fit into the Edge chassis? I can see some advantages if it is possible, but is it feasible or cost effective?
