700 big block crank changes

When did Polaris make the changes to the 700 big block crank and what exactly was the change? They moved the thrust washer, but I don't remember where it was before and where it went after the change.

Anyone remember off the top of their head?

The '97 and '98 both had the retaining ring on the PTO end bearing. In '99, Polaris moved the retaining ring into the interior of the crank (mag side of center section).
